Shakuntala Bodas, the author of the books about Rama found this website after her daughter saw and relayed it to her just before her trip to the United States. Shakuntala told Betty Treadwell about the site. We had not seen Betty for many years and had completely lost track of her. We found that she had been living only 50 miles from us for the last twelve years. Betty is a devotee of Rama and will always hold a special place in our hearts. We visited Betty and Shakuntala at Betty's home on Sunday 9/21/03 and had a wonderful time reminiscing about Rama. Shakuntala is a sweet and humble soul who has written several books on Rama and His teachings. We were so happy to meet her and to obtain a copy of her books. When we visited Shakuntala and Betty again on 9/28/03, our 2-1/2 year old granddaughter, Brianna went for a walk with my wife Sharon (she calls her Grammy) and Shari her aunt. When she came back she told me that Mary was walking with them and that there was an angel in the sky above them. God was very near that day and it shows that Brianna, like many very young children, is very pure at heart. That purity is why Rama and Jesus love little children so much. When Jesus said blessed are the pure at heart for they shall see God, He wasn't talking about something that happens after death.
